1) Terms & Conditions

1.1 Acceptance

By creating an account, logging in, or using the CubeX teaching app (“App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1.2 Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent where required).
• Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and agree not to share it.

1.3 Courses, Quizzes & Certificates

• Courses are designed to be beginner-friendly and provide a strong foundation.
• Certificates are certificates of completion, not professional qualifications or accreditation.
• Certificates may require: completing all lessons and scoring at least 70% on associated quizzes.
• Retakes are allowed unless otherwise stated in a specific course.

1.4 Payments & Refunds

• Core learning content is free. If any paid item appears (e.g., add-ons), it will be clearly labeled.
• All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or cancellations, except where required by law.

1.5 Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to bypass security, disrupt the App, or misuse content.
• No abusive, illegal, or infringing behavior.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

1.6 Intellectual Property

• All content, code, graphics, and materials on the App are owned by CubeX or licensed to us.
• You may not copy, redistribute, or commercialize content without permission.

1.7 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

1.8 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

2) Privacy Policy

This explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2.1 Data We Collect

• Account Data: name, email, password (encrypted).
• Learning Data: courses enrolled, lesson progress, quiz attempts/scores, certificates.
• Device/Usage Data: IP address, browser/OS, timestamps, diagnostics.
• Ad/Monetization Data: non-identifying data from ad networks for measuring ad performance and preventing fraud.

2.2 How We Use Data

• Provide and improve courses, track progress, issue certificates.
• Secure accounts and prevent abuse.
• Show ads, affiliate content, and sponsorship banners (see Advertising).
• Comply with legal obligations.

2.3 Legal Bases (GDPR, where applicable)

• Contract: to provide the App you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests: analytics, service improvement, fraud prevention.
• Consent: cookies/ads where required.
• Legal obligation: when the law requires us to retain or disclose data.

2.4 Sharing & Third Parties

• Service providers (hosting, analytics, email, media/CDN) under contractual safeguards.
• Ad networks & affiliates (see below) which may receive limited, pseudonymous data.
• Legal requests: where we must comply with applicable laws.

2.5 Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required by law.

2.6 Security

We use industry-standard protections (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No online service can be 100% secure, so keep your credentials safe.

2.7 Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we’ve collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we’ll delete it.

2.8 International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses) where required.

3) Advertising, Affiliates & Sponsorships Monetization

3.1 Ad Networks (AdSense/AdMob)

• We display ads from Google AdSense/AdMob and/or similar networks.
• Depending on your region/consent, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
• Ad partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud.

3.2 Affiliate Links

• Some recommendations include affiliate links. If you buy through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

3.3 Sponsorship Banners

• We may show partner banners on the dashboard or course pages. Sponsored content will be labeled where appropriate.

You can adjust cookie/ad preferences in the cookie banner (where shown) or via your device/browser settings.

4) Cookies & Similar Technologies

• Essential: keep you logged in, protect accounts.
• Analytics: understand feature usage (aggregated).
• Advertising: deliver, measure, and improve ads (subject to consent where required).

You can block cookies in your browser. Some features may not work if essential cookies are disabled.

5) Your Privacy Rights

• Access/Portability: request a copy of your data.
• Correction: fix inaccurate information.
• Deletion: request deletion, subject to legal/operational limits.
• Objection/Restriction: where processing is based on legitimate interests.
• Consent Withdrawal: for cookie-based or marketing uses, where applicable.

We may update these Terms & the Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in-app or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version.
